ABOUT ME

Welcome!  I'm Kristina.  I am a speech and language pathologist in the Early Intervention, birth to three program.  When home visits were halted at the start of Covid, I started focusing on a passion of mine~literacy!  I became an Usborne Books & More Consultant but quickly found that wasn't my niche. I wanted to do more than sell books.  I really wanted to show families how to engage little ones in reading especially children that may be difficult to engage in books, like many of the kids I see for therapy. I have been working on incorporating my passion for working with children with delays and literacy to create a blog of resources and strategies!

I am also a mom of two energetic and affectionate boys, ages 1 and 4.  We love to be outdoors and enjoying nature.  We have a dog, Chip, who loves to go on walks and explore forest preserves.  When we're stuck inside in the winter, we love obstacle courses, dance parties and playing dinosaurs!
