Favorite Holidays Books!

In our home, we celebrate Hanukkah and Christmas. It's important for us to make traditions with our family and teach the kids about both holidays. One of the best (and easiest!) ways to do this is through books!

Hanukkah

We keep the tradition of lighting the candles but don't do gifts each night. Of course we eat the latkes! To help keep the kiddos engaged, we got a wooden Menorah from Kid Kraft so the little one could participate. My husband let the 4 year old help light the candles. I closed my eyes!

Christmas!

How are Christmas trees going in your house?! We set up a small one in the boys room and let them decorate it! They loved being able to help and do it their way. We have not put up the big tree yet, because well...the 18 month old is WILD! He already broke the ornaments from the small tree. We might keep it simple this year and just do the tree and lights. Our boys couldn't be more different. Our older son was always such a great helper, rule follower and wouldn't touch anything he might break!
